IF ELECTED, I WILL SERVE A SINGLE TERM IN ANAMBRA 2025, SAYS IFEANYI UBAH

If won in the Anambra governorship election of next year, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah, the senator representing the Anambra South Senatorial Zone, has pledged to serve just one term.

Ubah recently left the Young Progressive Party (YPP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) and has expressed interest in running against current governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

Speaking to media in Nnewi, Ubah promised to serve a single term in order to finish the Anambra South Senatorial District's turn in accordance with the state's current zoning arrangement.

As Senator Ubah, the current governor, Prof. Soludo is from the Anambra South Senatorial Zone and is gearing up for reelection on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, or APGA.

Ubah expressed concern that the administration of Governor Soludo had proven to be ineffective and that the people of the state were upset with the APGA government, saying that the state needed to be put on the path of economic progress immediately.

In order to disseminate development over the entire state at once, Ubah also pledged to hold local government elections within four months of winning the governorship.

Any dedicated governor may achieve greater success and satisfy the people in the state in four years, in his opinion.

He noted that the people's anticipation that the Professor of Economics would propel them to greater heights had been disappointed because the current administration's sole accomplishment is to destroy the people's means of subsistence. He also noted that development under Governor Soludo has been extremely slow.

"None of my opponents can match my inventive ideas for the state's development.

"If I am elected governor, Anambra State would be a popular tourist destination in Nigeria overall and in the South-East specifically for business and health reasons.

"The Nambra flag will be flown in numerous global capitals to entice development to the state and inspire our people living abroad to return and make investments here at home," he declared.

Even in his private life, according to Ubah, he had made a significant impact on the lives of many people in Anambra State in a variety of areas, like as sports, employment, commerce, empowerment, education, and general emancipation of women and youth.
