BISHOP FEYI DANIELS' UNFULFILLED PROPHESY AND TINUBU'S ARREST

Feyi Daniels, the founder of iReign Christian Ministry, was sentenced to life in prison by an Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence court on Friday, January 26, 2024, for raping a church member at his Lekki home while "speaking in tongues."

The Lagos-based priest was found guilty by trial judge Rahman Oshodi of raping and sexually assaulting a female worshipper in his church in 2020.

The victim (name withheld) was called to the church's Lagos headquarters even though she was stationed in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State. She said that Daniels had ordered her to come to his residence in Lekki as punishment for missing a meeting, and when she arrived, he had told her to take off her clothing because he planned to beat her.

She recounted her experience of being raped and added, "We were listening to a pastor's sermon in the sitting room the next day when he said I should go naked again. I complied, and to my surprise, he also undressed and sexually assaulted me for around half an hour, until my tears, which were not from being a virgin, caused me to start bleeding.

Pastor Daniels was taken into custody after the victim brought the case to the attention of FCID Alagbon in Lagos in 2022.

On October 21, 2023, Daniels utilized the witness box to accuse three of the victims of conspiring against him.

After that, he kept up his role as the church's pastor, and he made some bold predictions for the 2023 presidential race.
