Hon Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi Representing Oshodi-Isolo I Federal Constituency in Lagos State held an outreach today in his constituency.

Hon Jesse Okey-Joe Onuakalusi Representing Oshodi-Isolo I Federal Constituency in Lagos State held an outreach today in his constituency. Below is his remark.

I have always believed that leadership must go beyond words and politics. Leadership must touch lives directly, especially in moments when people are struggling the most.

That is why I remain committed to bringing quality healthcare closer to the people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II through this ongoing medical outreach.

Today, many families cannot afford the rising cost of medical care, drugs, eye treatment, and surgeries. I understand these realities, and I know that access to healthcare should never be a privilege reserved only for a few. It is a basic necessity every citizen deserves.

This medical outreach is my own way of ensuring that our people, especially the elderly, women, youths, and vulnerable residents, receive the care and attention they deserve without financial burden.

Through this initiative, hundreds of constituents are benefiting from free medical consultations, eye tests, free medicated glasses, drugs, and referrals for surgeries including cataract and glaucoma treatment.

Seeing our people regain hope, receive treatment, and smile again gives me even greater motivation to continue serving with compassion and dedication.

What makes this even more important to me is that this is not a one-time intervention. Over time, I have continued to organize several medical outreaches and other people-centered programs across our communities because I believe representation must be visible, practical, and impactful.

For me, public office is not about titles or personal interests. It is about service, sacrifice, and responsibility to the people who entrusted me with their mandate. Every life touched through this outreach reminds me why I must continue to work harder for our constituency.

I remain committed to building a healthier, stronger, and more hopeful Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II where no one is left behind.
Together, we will continue to move forward.
