Peter Obi declares, "I'm not quitting the Labour Party."

In response to rumors in the media that he could leave the Labour Party before the 2027 election due to his purported dissatisfaction with the leadership issue, Peter Obi, the party's presidential candidate in 2023, has responded.

Benson Upah, the spokesman for the Nigeria Labour Congress, had stated that the former governor of Anambra State was free to leave the LP and that the congress would not obstruct his decision.

Upah had declared: "Mr. Obi has the freedom to choose." It's his choice if he decides to leave the party. We are unable to hold him to that standard. Peter Obi, however, is always a benefit if he decides to stay. I base my argument on that.

However, in response to inquiries from Gombe State journalists soon after he donated a borehole to the Tike Pantami ram market yesterday, Obi allayed concerns that he could join the Social Democratic Party, or SDP, in order to further his ambitions.

"No, there isn't," remarked Obi. I enjoy and support peace. We are one people, in my opinion. We should focus on achieving peace, and I think we can handle any issue.

The LP candidate responded to a potential partnership with former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai by saying, "Well, I'm more interested in Nigeria's success today than tomorrow."

We never stop thinking about the election instead of the struggles that Nigerians face. My commitment is to improve the lives and society of Nigerians, and that is what I am concerned about.

Obi called on stakeholders to exercise caution in response to the federal government's hike in the energy tariff for Band A customers through the Nigerian energy Regulatory Commission, or NERC.

"Everyone should consider it and consider how we might help. How do we address it, particularly in the context of the impoverished areas?

"People who live in Band A areas pay more while those who live in rural areas receive subsidies everywhere in the world. That's how it operates, Obi explained.

Comedian AY shares, "My 20-year marriage is slipping away from me."

Actor and comedian Ayo Makun, better known by his stage name AY, has responded to the gossip over his union with wife Mabel.

Rumors of their separation and infidelity have fuelled recent rumors of strife in their partnership.

AY appeared to acknowledge these claims in a lengthy Instagram post on Sunday, when he acknowledged doing things he wasn't proud of.

He claimed that because of his "deep personal family issues," he was at a point where he could no longer amuse the public.

He issued a warning against making assumptions, emphasizing that public displays do not characterize a person's strength or weakness.

Many people think that remaining silent merely indicates that one is unable to handle problems, according to AY. It is not indicative of weakness to cast a harsh light on someone who is not fighting for his own rights.

Some of us possess just enough logic to distinguish between facts, values, beliefs, and opinions.

"My personality and abilities merely reinforce that I've reached a point in my life when I can't be entertaining the public while dealing with extremely private family matters. It's possible that they are too much for the people involved to handle.

"Not even in the event that my adult daughter gains access to social media. It is important to safeguard her mental health from viewing things on the internet of which she cannot be proud.

Indeed! I have found myself doing certain things that I am not proud of today, without compromising my family. It is one thing to watch my 20-year relationship and marriage fall apart, but it is quite another for the people involved to know how to assign blame in an environment where most women are expected to constantly play the victim and come out on top. It goes without saying that no one is entirely innocent enough to throw stones.

I'm love how the lies in all these blogs about me are spreading quicker than the reality right now. However, my terrible truth will ultimately triumph above all falsehoods.

After getting hitched in November 2008, AY and Mabel are grateful to have two kids.

It was learned that a vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in the event, which happened in the community's Idi Mango neighborhood along the Ore-Okitipupa Expressway.

It was said that the victims, who were reportedly siblings, were being transported by motorcycle.

According to a source, the motorcyclist's carelessness on the road resulted in the collision with the truck, which was approaching from the other way.

However, it was discovered that the truck driver fled the scene out of fear of being lynched.

The vehicle was approaching from Okitipupa when the motorcyclist skidded and collided with it. The two youngsters, who are brothers, passed away instantly.

The source stated, "The truck's driver fled while the vehicle was being transported to the Ore police station."

In response, Ezekiel Son'Allah, the state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, who had verified the event, stated that improper overtaking and speed limit violations were to blame for the disaster.
